Senior Syndrome has begun O.O

Hey, guys!!

Finals week is quickly approaching, my friends... o.o For those of you still in school and approaching the inevitable days of doom, best of luck!! You can get through it, I promise!! Chins up, noses to the grindstone, we're almost there!!

(cue Les Miserables soundtrack)

Life has been slow since midterms finished up... solo and ensemble, both district and state level, have come and gone, leaving both red and blue ribbons in their wake. I'm a little over three weeks away from graduating from my orchestra, which is a bizarre feeling. O.O I've been there so long, it's weird to think it'll be completely over in less than a month. An awards ceremony, celebrating not only the seniors but this year's solo and ensemble veterans will be taking place in about a week, and there myself and the other seniors will be receiving our senior medals, which we have to wear to the final concert. I've seen almost my entire original orchestra receive these medals and leave, either never to return or to come back, flit through the orchestra, and then continue on to bigger things; now, it's my turn. I know from here it's bigger adventures and quests, but it's hard to leave the hobbit hole of normalcy to find these fantastic tales to discover and create. Still!! It's a positive experience to leave, I'm glad I was there and it was a good stepping stone to find!!

Until next time, then!!

Over and out. Rinse. Repeat.

Happy World Penguin Day!!!
